Vision Screening

Vision screening is a brief exam that looks for potential vision problems and eye disorders and identifies whether a subject is in need of a professional eye examination by conducting a screening test. Vision screening is not used to diagnose vision problems and we recommend and encourage that you go to an Optician for a comprehensive eye exam.

Comprehensive eye exams

A comprehensive eye exam is a more in-depth test than a vision screening. It can last between 30 minutes to an hour as it aims to looking for vision problems and signs of any serious eye diseases. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms so you might not know a problem exists thus periodic eye exams are an important part of caring for your eyes, vision, and overall health.

Contact lenses

We provide contact lenses which are prescribed and dispensed for various purposes which among other things have the advantage of giving you an obstruction-free field of vision so you do not have to deal with frames getting in your line of sight. Contact us for further details.

Ocular prosthesis

Ocular prosthesis is an artificial eye or glass eye which is implanted in patients who have lost their eye due to various causes such as trauma, surgery, cancer, or in patients with shrunken damaged eyes (phthisical eyes), congenital absence (anophthalmos) or abnormally small sized eyes (microphthalmos) with no visual potential. It replaces an absent natural eye and fits over an orbital implant and under the eyelids.

General ocular management

Frame adjustments

Some of our branches provide frame adjustment services. In order to get the perfect fit, some frames may require some adjustment of the arms which require heating or bending and adjustment of nose pads when you buy them, and this is perfectly normal. Come in and we will take a look
